Just a comment on the rifles displayed by ISIS in the above photo: Those are AK-103s which are brand new and made only in Russia. They have all the latest features of the Russian AK-74 but in the ever popular 7.62×39 caliber. They are meant for export and I’m sure that the Russians are supplying the Syrian Army with them. But, how did ISIS get them? Either the Syrian soldiers are dropping them as they run away or there is one corrupt Syrian officer selling them on the black market.
