Tripoli, Feb. 3 – A number of students closed off the entrance of the College of Business Administration in Tripoli, Lebanon, calling for the immediate resignation of the newly appointed director of the school, Antoine Tanus.
His crime? He’s a Christian.
In the words of the National News Agency, the students are protesting “over the hiring of a Christian director to manage the College of Business Administration.”
Students said that they would continue protesting until the Christian director was removed and replaced by another, that is, a Muslim.
In related news, around the same time it was reported that hundreds of teachers in northern Kenya refused to return to work. In their case, the “strike” was a product of fear from Islamic militants who have killed dozens of non-Muslims, most of them Christians.

Which is more important?: Is the new director of the College of Business Administration a competent administrator and knowledgeable of and experienced in business administration? -OR- Is he a Muslim? Clearly, the students in Tripoli prefer incompetence to ritual impurity. This is another anodoctal piece of evidence of why Muslim countries are hellholes.
