Raymond Ibrahim is a widely published author who specializes in the Middle East and Islam. He describes Christian persecution as “the world’s ignored pandemic.” He tells American Family News that the persecution of Christians is consistently on the rise, increasing by nearly 70% over the last five years. In fact, Breitbart recently reported that more than 360 million Christians are facing high levels of persecution.
In light of the report from Breitbart, Ibrahim accuses the mainstream media of largely failing the public by neglecting to report how frequently acts of persecution actually occur.
“The [mainstream] media talks about spectacular incidents, like the one that took place in 2015 when 21 Coptic Christians had their heads carved off by ISIS on a seashore in Libya,” he observes, “[but] rarely mentions the ongoing, slow-motion bleeding type of persecution that’s occurring almost daily.”
But outside of incidents like that one seven years ago, Ibrahim points out, much of the persecution that occurs around the world isn’t mentioned. The banning of churches by governments, as well as attacks on blasphemers and apostates, is constant, he explains – adding that persecution is also on the rise in non-Muslim countries.
“But it’s telling that incidents like the desecration of churches in France and Germany occur precisely in areas heavily populated by Muslims,” he points out. “It also goes hand in hand in Europe – and in America – with this extreme Leftist secularization that enables and covers for Islamic hostility while it’s also being very anti-Christian itself.”
What’s unfolding in South Asia, he argues, is a recent example of the West’s limited knowledge of the scope of the problem. “Afghanistan has always been really bad, [but] the Biden administration’s chaotic withdrawal from the country has made it much worse,” says Ibrahim.
For the first time since World Watch Research reports were published, Afghanistan has topped North Korea as the most dangerous place in the world to be a Christian.
“The Taliban consider anyone who’s a Christian to be an enemy or an apostate,” Ibrahim notes. “Christian persecution is wide open in Afghanistan under the [rule of the] Taliban – and there’s no end in sight.”
Raymond Ibrahim is author of “Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War Between Islam and the West” (2018), and “Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians” (2013). His most recent book is “Defenders of the West: The Christian Heroes Who Stood Against Islam” (2022).
What I cannot understand is why are Churches left open to allow these barbarians to enter and desecrate them. Unless it’s a feast day and mass is being celebrated, in which case there would be people inside, church doors must be kept shut. Open doors was usual when we lived in civilised societies which respected each other’s holy places but obviously this is not the case anymore. Churches in London are not open. Even Ayia Sophia which used to have a small door at the back of the garden invisible from the road which was usually left open for anyone to go in and light a candle is now kept firrmly shut.
I’m not sure a locked door would stop them. Western countries have taken in en masse, a group who intends to utterly destroy them, nothing less. These acts of vandalism should be expected and as we know from Raymond’s reports, have only been increasing in recent years in Western countries.
Current leadership in the West has bought into the (Big G) Globalist narrative, the Utopian society dream. They see the middle class and nation state as impediments to their plan. They see Christianity and most religion as problematic except, Islam, whom they seem to have partnered with not realizing that Islam will use them to gain a further foothold in the western countries, to overtake them demographically and change laws, or by outright violence should the west not change leadership and protect itself soon, in our current decade I think the change has to be implemented for safety of the society.
So what can we do? In the UK, you have the For Britain party which I haven’t followed for a while but Anne Marie Waters formed it and she is completely outspoken about the problem our friends pose to Western civilization. I consider Anne Marie a modern day heroine. I believe Nigel sidelined her for being too outspoken about the Islamic problems, gangs, etc.
Tommy Robinson, a rather tough guy character has spoken out against the Grooming Gangs, been thrown in prison for it and almost died in there.
He has won the respect of many in the working class and has supporters around the world. He has also spoken at Oxford Student Union.
You might consider contacting them Mary to be involved wit some likeminded Brits. Whatever you do, please be careful and stay safe. These activities can be dangerous in a place like London where you are surrounded.
What human rights do you have if you can be murdered by A muslim or African, and your news channels cover it up? They forbid you from talking about it. You are racist for not wanting to live with them. You are racist for not wanting to let them into your country. Even though every single non white nations supports closed borders, only Jews and white gentiles can be called racist for supporting closed borders. People have been accusing Jews of controlling everything for thousands of years, while mass murdering them for it. So how is it that only people with power can be racist, if the people screaming they want the power, try to exterminate the Jewish race to get it? In G-d I trust.

The silence from the MSM about the Persecuted Church is no longer a surprise, since they choose to dance with the devil.
Most Western countries have opened their doors, contrary to what Scripture says, to people who do not share our faith in Christ. Neither do Western heads of state, which is the reason persecution of Christians is becoming more frequent by the day.
Canada is a perfect example, where the Marxist Trudeau government with his RCMP stormtroopers deliberately target Christian pastors who chose to follow Christ instead of Caesar by keeping their churches open during the plandemic, are harassed and intimidated and put in prison. One pastor Arthur is still languishing in solitary confinement in Calgary, when I last heard. Some churches support Caesar, which has caused division even among Christians. Too many regard the government as God.
America has many attacks and deaths of citizens caused Islamic infiltrators. Now a demented president and his political supporters who have caused the betrayal and death of Christians and others in Afghanistan lately. Not to mention Christians brutalised in the ME, Far East, Africa, where our governments continue to trade with impunity and unconditionally with persecuting countries. How many churches in the West give financial aid to organisations who provide practical and spiritual support to the Persecuted Church, mostly at risk of their own lives?
As more people turn away from God and churches become apostate, the stronger Islam’s influence in our countries will be and persecution will become common place.
Raymond Ibrahim is our only real source of information. I hope Christians are praying for his safety.
In the mean time, I believe our governments are God’s judgement on our nations for having legalised everything that is an abomination to God. We are Romans 1.
