The Situation Report recently interviewed me on a broad number of topics. The official description and video follow:
We’re joined today by Raymond Ibrahim, an author, and speaker on Middle East and Islamic topics, to discuss Islam and other ideologies that are looking to choke out and restrict the freedoms that Christians have in our culture. If we’re not willing to stand up for the truth, then we’re going to lose those freedoms. Don’t miss this important conversation on this episode of Situation Report.

This is a sign of a decadent empire.
Today, moreover, the traditional Catholic calendar celebrates Saint Louis IX, King of France. In the introduction to the feast, it states:
“Saint Louis IX, born in 1215, was king of France from 1226 to 1270. He was a delicate husband, father of eleven children, and a true ascetic on the throne. He combined energetic and wise government with the exercises of piety and the frequency of the Sacraments. His policy was always based on the strictest justice, unwavering righteousness and the welfare of the needy. He undertook two crusades to the Holy Places, and died of the plague during the second in 1270.

Appreciate the history lesson DSS.

Thanks Raymond, that was a very interesting discussion. I totally agree with what you said about the present day wishy washy Christians, who might be that in name only.
Many churches no longer believe in Sola Scriptura but follow the culture rather than the Bible, to such an extent that they have become apostate.
There are so many scripture verses in both the Old and New Testaments that have popped into my mind lately , describing what happens to mankind when they disobey and reject God. We are experiencing the consequences.
Dum Spiro Spero says
Where in the Bible is the principle of Sola Scriptura? Nowhere. That is Luther’s invention, after which the whole of Western Europe was greatly weakened.
First comes Tradition, and as a consequence of what was preached comes Scripture. An example: 3 John 1:13: “I have many things to write to you, but I would prefer not to do so with pen and ink. Instead, I hope to see you soon and speak with you face to face. Peace to you.The friends here send you greetings. Greet each of our friends there by
name”

Neither is ‘tradition’ or it’s principle mentioned in Scripture.
With all due respect, I am not a Roman Catholic, for many reasons. Neither is this a forum to argue with you about your beliefs, or mine. I don’t believe this blog is for this purpose either.
Have a good day.
Dum Spiro Spero says
Yes, Tradition before Scripture you have in the example 3 John 3:13, and others.
And in the fact that the preaching of the Church existed before the New Testament Scripture was written.

Very trying times for sure. Enemies without and within. Keeping my eye on Europe as well. Michael Heaver channel on YouTube is good. He gives very brief reports on UK Europe and elsewhere. A real good guy.
GBNews recommended to me by Mary, is an excellent site doing real reporting and eclipsing BBC. Thorough in its scope I recommend it highly.

Watched last night Raymond. Always … good to hear your credentials. Have I suggested you put a blurb on all your articles? Might help those who are curious.
Great fun to hear of your Football ops and Weightlifting! Despite some problems now at 73, I still do light strength training and aerobic workouts and stretching. Makes all of life better if we have the ability.
Thx and hope all’s well with you.
