Here’s my suggestion for your next book (with all due respect to Mr. Cossi’s great idea): Who are the prominent Jewish heroes who fought against Islam? If there isn’t enough material for a full book, please consider writing one or more columns for PJMedia.
That would be interesting as well. Although I suspect that there weren’t that many, since there weren’t (to my knowledge) any jewish states or nobles in the middle ages. My impression is that jews as a whole were scattered throughout mostly christian, muslim, and pagan lands. But if there were any, it would be very interesting to learn about them. Aside from more modern (20th century and onward) Israelis of course.
