Who is more deserving of punishment by the United States? Millions of Egyptians, for ousting the Muslim Brotherhood? Or the Muslim Brotherhood, for habitually terrorizing and murdering Christians, among many other crimes?
According to the unmistakably clear actions of the Obama administration, it is the millions of anti-Brotherhood Egyptians who deserve punishment.
Last Sunday, the Church of the Virgin Mary in Waraq near Cairo was attacked during a wedding ceremony, leaving four dead and many wounded. According to Dr. Hisham Abdul Hamid of forensics, two of those who were murdered were Christian children—two girls; two Marys: 12-year-old Mary Nabil Fahmy, who took five shots in the chest, and 8-year-old Mary Ashraf Masih (meaning “Christ”), who took a bullet in the back which burst from the front.
It should be noted that this scene—attacked Coptic churches and murdered Christians, especially on holy days and celebrations—has become a normalized aspect of Egypt’s landscape (see Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians, especially pgs. 42-43 and 56-62).
So too are the murders of Christian children increasingly common in Egypt. Indeed, along with Sunday’s two murdered Marys, back in July, another Christian girl, 10-year-old Jessi Boulos, was shot dead while walking home from Bible class.
All of these church attacks and murders are a direct byproduct of the Muslim Brotherhood’s incitements against Egypt’s Christians in retaliation for the June 30 Revolution, which saw the ousting of the Brotherhood.
Needing someone to scapegoat in order to set Egypt ablaze, Brotherhood leadership—including supreme leader Muhammad Badie, Safwat Hegazi, and Al Jazeera’s Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi—repeatedly demonized the nation’s Christian minority, leading to any number of atrocities committed against the Copts.
As today’s headline from one of Egypt’s most read newspapers, Tahrir News, put it: “The Brotherhood’s crime in Waraq [location of Sunday’s church attack]. Seventeen murdered Copts and 85 torched churches since ousting of Morsi… Copts pay price of June 30 Revolution.”
Now consider the response of the United States concerning the conflict between Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood in the context of U.S. aid.
For years, human rights activists have been imploring the Obama administration to make aid to Egypt contingent on respect for the human rights of all Egyptians, including Christian minorities. Such a move would dramatically ameliorate the plight of the Copts, since all potential Egyptian governments, including the ousted Muslim Brotherhood, are more interested in securing money than in killing Christians.
Instead, the Obama administration’s approach has been 1) to ignore the plight of Egypt’s Christians and 2) when attacks are especially egregious (and exposed by the MSM) offer perfunctory condemnation. (After all, if the administration was able to get away with the lip-service approach among Americans—vocally condemning and promising to get the Muslim Brotherhood-linked murderers of Americans in Benghazi but then ignoring it—surely it will not hesitate doing so with a foreign nation.)
As for making U.S. aid to Egypt contingent on respect for human rights, that has been out of the question for the Obama administration.
And yet, when those who are responsible for the destruction of nearly 100 Christian churches (including an unprecedented attack on the holiest Coptic church back when Morsi was still president) and the murders of Copts and their children finally get ousted by the Egyptian people and their military, it is then that the Obama administration cuts hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Egypt—thereby punishing all of Egypt for ejecting the Muslim Brotherhood from power. (In other nations, like Syria, the administration supports the Christian-slaughtering, al-Qaeda linked terrorists).
What more proof can any sensible American need to know that the Muslim-named president of the United States of America is in league with Muslim terrorists?

I have two points to make as i far as I know the Copts never asked for protection against atrocities committed against them from the west in general and America in particular while the criminal and terrorist organization the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and its members were waiting with great anticipation the arrival of the American forces to save the criminal and terrorist Morsi from being forced out of office.which means that the real Egyptians are the Copts and not the members of the criminal group the MB
The second point is Egyptians are saying the MB is a terrorist group which they are and Obama supports the MB therefore he supports terrorists
Absolute shame
Hummer says
That’s what I don’t understand why we US citizens are not questioning Obama however that can be done and his very apparent long time support of the MB. He is not above questioning though he may think so since he has muzzled the MSM. I’m talking Congressional investigation. And yes the Copts are the real Egyptians.
Arius1071 says
Only Congressional Republicans would and have already investigated this, but the media is owned and married to Obama, along with Wall Street, Academia, and Hollywood. The evil of Obama in the Middle East will not be stopped, and may not be stopped no matter who is elected in 2016. This is the kind of evil world we live in.
Arius1071 says
As an Armenian I can tell you that the Orthodox Christians of the Middle East and North Africa have lost all hope in the US or EU. They are appealing to Russia that is trying to help them. It is Russia that assists in the repair of Churches in the region; the US only helps in the repair of Mosques. It is Russia that is trying to help Christians that are being raped and murdered by the jihadis aided and abetting by the US and EU, jihadis that also rape and murder Muslims that say No to the 7th century.
The Christians in the region and a majority of Muslims in Egypt now see the US as an ally of the Muslim Brotherhood.
It is worse than shame, it is perfidy, it is evil, it violates everything that America represents, or should I say used to represent.

everyone has a gun in egypt WHY do the coptic people not protect themselves I do not understand
Dave says
Only people with guns in Egypt are the armed forces and the Muslim Brotherhood, who get their weaponry straight from the U.S. If a Copt was found with a gun, that would only make matters worse…
Arius1071 says
The Copts have been amazingly turning the other cheek for decades, a truly very Christians act. But enough is enough, the Copts must start to organize self defense groups. They must defend their people, homes, businesses, and churches. There is some evidence that they have started. A Muslim was writing Islamic slogans on a Church and the local Copts came and stopped him. But they must go much further.
GreekAsianPanda says
There should be a global pan-Christian self-defense army or something that would defend all Christians from Islamists and others.
Shane says
Yes, the Muslims have Hezbollah, the army of Allah, and many jihadi groups. Christians need a holy army to protect Christians all over the world from persecution.
LarrySingleton says
It’s not so much turning the other cheek as it is self-preservation. They know what would happen if they squawk.
“A Muslim was writing Islamic slogans on a Church and the local Copts came and stopped him.”
Usually this is cause to come back with a mob and assault the church. The police and army are doing absolutely nothing. And if you remember it was police and the military who were spotted with the mobs burning churches under Morsi.
Shane says
Because they are outgunned 9 to 1 and the police are on the side of their Muslim persecuters.

Time for a christian homeland in the middle east.
Shane says
Of course Obama is not going to come to the aid of Christians, as he and the Left view Christians as their great enemy. Where are the Christians in the USA and Europe when these atrocities against Christians in the Middle East are occurring almost daily? Christians should speak out and sen aid to our brothers and sister being persecuted by Muslims around the world. So what if they are of a different branch of Christianity than you. Once the Muslims finish massacring these Christians, they will eventually come for you.

No offense but what a piece of crap Disquis is. And now my comment disappears if I sign. Which it didn’t use to do. And you have “edit” the damn thing after you’ve pasted a few paragraphs. What a pain in the ass. Every time.
About two years ago I ordered some reading material, including Taha’s “Second Message”, and a “study” Koran to find out what this “Islam thing” was all about. When I was sixteen I was chanting nam yo ho renge kyo to a piece of paper, (gahonzen?), having NO idea what I was doing. (I’m 56 now.) A few years later I hitchhiked cross country, got saved in Nashville Tenn. and went to live on a Christian farm in Mansfield Ohio.(No, not the prison.) Enroute I stayed with a group from The Children of God. Who had some “prophet” whose name, I think, was Moses David.
My gra’mom called me a “seeker”. As I said, there came a time when I wanted to understand this “religion of peace”. It was Humaid’s article on jihad I found in my Summarized Bukhari that decided “things” for me.
I’ve submitted this poser to over a hundred Muslims at least. I’ve only received two responses; One from an Imam telling me I needed a more indepth study of Islam. He didn’t mention which parts. Or point out the flaws in my question. And one from a “Dr.” Mohson El-Guindy, suggesting I read his books. Instead I downloaded a bunch of his articles. What-A-Waste-Of-Time. His articles seem to be one long rambling screed.
If Islam is the “religion of peace”, where in Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid’s article on jihad can I find the equivalent of “Love Thy Neighbor” and “good will toward men”? And explain its prominence, and significance almost as an “Introduction”, in a book that’s described as “the most authentic and true among the books of the Prophet”: My Summarized Sahih Al-Bukhari. Also address “jihad” as it’s defined in Reliance of the Traveller and answer the same question. (Chapter O-9.0: Jihad O: “Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion.” And explain why the “greater” jihad is only mentioned once here and never seen again in this “Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law”.) Also compare Humaid’s “jihad” and Emmet Fox’ Sermon on the Mount and tell me which one best represents a spirit of Love and compassion. Lastly; would you pick Sheik bin Humaid to sit on a Human Rights Commission? (That’s a trick question by the way.)
Maybe you can throw in an explanation of the Jews are “monkeys, pigs and rats” on page 656 and the part where Mo says, “if somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him” on page 613 in the chapter on Jihad.
Also, explain why Humaid’s “jihad” shouldn’t be “Exhibit A” in refuting the “religion of peace” claim.

Everybody should read Humaid’s article. It is great amunition to the “moderate” Muslim bullshit and “religion of peace” claim. See who plugs this article when you link onto it.
