World leaders are increasingly pointing to U.S. President Obama’s failures in the Middle East.
Some are direct and blunt. For example, during his recent visit to Brazil, Russian President Vladimir Putin was asked by journalists about U.S. sanctions against Russia due to the Ukrainian crisis. While naturally condemning such moves, part of his response was to accuse the Obama administration of “encouraging war between neighboring states.” In the same context, Putin added:
American objectives have not been realized, nor have they accomplished anything, because everything has collapsed. Afghanistan faces problems, and Iraq and Libya are falling apart. Egypt also was going to collapse had President Sisi not taken matters in hand. And all this demonstrates the failures of the Obama administration.
In fact, and as I have pointed out in several articles, every Muslim nation the U.S. has interfered in—whether to promote “democracy,” as in the much ballyhooed “Arab Spring,” or to defeat “terrorism” and/or eliminate “WMDs”—has seen two results: the empowerment of Islamists, followed by chaos, conflict, and constant atrocities.
Other leaders, such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, indirectly point to the Obama administration’s failures in the Middle East. This occurred during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, in the context of the Presbyterian Church of the USA’s recent decision to divest from Israel in the name of the Palestinian people.
After pointing out that “Christians are persecuted throughout the Middle East”—and nary a word of condemnation or concern from the Presbyterian Church—Netanyahu said:
You know, I would suggest to these Presbyterian organizations to fly to the Middle East, come and see Israel for the embattled democracy that it is, and then take a bus tour, go to Libya, go to Syria, go to Iraq, and see the difference. And I would give them two pieces of advice, one is, make sure it’s an armor-plated bus, and second, don’t say that you’re Christians.
While not directly mentioning the U.S.’s role in these three nations—Netanyahu, after all, is on better terms with America than Putin—the obvious is clear: 1) the U.S. played a major role “liberating” two of these countries—Iraq and Libya—and is currently supporting the freedom fighters/terrorists trying to “liberate” Syria; and 2) in all three nations, the human rights of non-Muslims, specifically Christians, have taken a dramatic nosedive, evincing the nature of those the U.S. helped empower.
Consider Iraq today, one decade after the U.S. took down Saddam Hussein, bringing “freedom” and “democracy” to the Iraqi people: now an Islamic caliphate exists, enforcing the savageries of Sharia—from stoning women accused of adultery to crucifying others, burning churches and forcing Christians either to convert to Islam, pay “taxes” (jizya) and embrace third class status, or face the sword.
Libya, Afghanistan, and rebel-controlled areas of Syria are little better.
As Putin pointed out, the only nation still trying to hang in there is Egypt, thanks to the anti-Muslim Brotherhood revolution—which, of course, was criticized by the U.S. government, including by people like John McCain.
To recap Egypt: the Obama administration turned its back on 30-year-long U.S. ally, the secularist Mubarak, embraced the Islamist Morsi, and some of the worst Muslim persecution of Christians—the litmus test of “radicalization”—took place against the Copts during Morsi’s one year of rule, from an unprecedented attack on the most important Coptic building and seat of the pope, the St. Mark Cathedral, to a dramatic rise in the imprisonment of Christians accused of “insulting” Islam.
As for Egypt’s current president, Sisi, he too made some observations that comport with those of Putin’s (that “someone” is fueling conflict between neighboring states) and Netanyahu’s (that the region is a mess, thanks to the empowerment of Islamists).
During his televised speech in early July, Sisi warned that “religion [code for “Islam”] is being used to destroy neighboring countries”—a clear reference to the empowerment of Islamists in the same failed nations highlighted by Putin and Netanyahu, namely, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan—all the handiwork of U.S. leadership in general, Obama’s administration in particular.

Thanks for putting this all together. “And on the earth, anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation (Jesus in Luke 21:25).”
The sea of mankind is certainly agitated and roaring. And the *rulers* do not know a way out.
Lea says
And out of this sea of turmoil rises the beast, which can see now, is Islam’s muslims.

Revelation 13 definitely seems to fit. Thankfully, the book gives an end to all such beasts and their rampages causing death.

Another great article, Raymond. You didn’t mention that my personal favorite world “leader”, Sultan Erdogan, is no longer talking to BHO. Wow. For Erdogan not to shoot off his big, stupid mouth in protest? Now that’s saying something.
Keep up the good work.
Lea says
That is just for show, a necessary position to take, since Erdogan is going extreme muslim now and therefore cannot openly be in Obama’s best friend gang anymore. Turkey has everything to do with the turmoil and they are for the Isis caliphate, this is because Turkey sees itself as the rising neo-ottoman empire, envisaged to cover the whole of the middle east, including Israel, of course.

Saw a photo of Erdogan and 0bama a while back, and I thought, ‘the Turk and the Jerk.’

At last the use of the term “Third Class Citizens” in reference to the Copts of Egypt. This is much more accurate than the term “Second Class Citizens”. From Canada.

what do you do if the people Want an islamist or caliphate? anything but a western supported, installed dictator. the US state dept. would look for one they could control & would win the heart of the people. & winning by the sword IS what wins their heart, right? & as long as the west doesn’t care what happens to Christians, why should they? as long as they stay “over there”.

The Voices of Violence
“The days that are ahead are uncharted and will twist and turn. Many events will happen that will not be seen for what they are. They will be written off as unimportant. However, looking back, people will see that they were the first steps on an entirely new road of destruction. New personalities will emerge because of the great changes. People who did not think they could claim great power will seize their new opportunities. It will be the clever and the evil ones who will take advantage of the great vacuum that has suddenly emerged on the world scene.
Those whose voices would usually be heard will either be quiet or ineffective. They will see that they are really powerless in the face of the tide of violence.
Only those who preach violence will be heard because no one will oppose them or confront them or even threaten them. Their voices will go forth, be heard, and grow stronger – as if what they were saying is true. Violence and acts of violence will be the only words spoken.
The repercussions cannot be seen. Many will say that this had happened before and then cooled down. However, this situation is different. There is no peace to go back to. People will not cool down because so much has been destroyed that they have nowhere to return to. Violence is the modern word, the today word. Peace is quiet – no longer proposed a legitimate alternative and no longer attractive because it holds no rewards. Only violence is rewarded.
The core of society in the Middle East no longer exists. Only violence offers a hope of a better future – somehow- when the so-called enemies are removed. That is the great delusion that Satan has used to entrap everyone – his friends and his foes. They are all the same to him – people he wants to drag to hell as soon as they do his tasks.”

As soon as it was known that the Presidunce had given aid to islamists , where were the MSN ? And if the American people lack the stones to take the creature to task for his sins against not only folks in other lands ( The ones that have survived ) but for denying our Constitution . That calls for impeachment , and a few years of jail time would see justice served . That would help to get America back on track , but I fear the other nations he has mucked up are going to be beyond any aid , by the time the O’Bummer is out of office .

This is a great and informative article, both President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu understand the threat that Muslim Terrorists present to the world. Some People want to excuse President Obama’s behavior and believe that he doesn’t understand the threat Muslim Terrorists present to the world, but the truth is President Obama does understand the threat and unfortunately for us and those abroad he supports some of these Muslim Terrorists, mainly the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists. In President Obama’s book “The Audacity of Hope” on page 261 he says the following: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction”. President Obama’s constant support for radical Muslim Terrorists in the middle east should have raised questions long ago, his goal was to place these radical Muslim Terrorists in power, what played through in Egypt should have been a telltale sign. Egypt and the U.S. were not at odds, why would the Obama administration turn against Mubarak, meet with and support the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist group in Egypt? No Freedom of any kind was going to come from the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Obama administration ended up supporting Morsi a Muslim Brotherhood member for the Presidents seat in Egypt, he was elected by less than honorable means for a short while. The people protested in the millions and the Military aligned themselves with the people against Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists, Morsi and some Muslim Brotherhood members went to jail, the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters blamed the Coptic Christians and destroyed 80+ Christian Churches and beat, raped, tortured and murdered Coptic Christian children, women and men. After all this President Obama and many in his administration still came out in support of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists, I guess they somehow concluded in their own minds that the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists acted in an acceptable manner. The Egyptian people and their Military were smart not to listen to President Obama and his administration or they might right now be living and suffering under the brutality of the Muslim Brotherhoods strict version of sharia law. The Egyptian people will probably not trust the United States until we no longer have Barack Obama or any other likeminded individual sitting as President of the United States. Just as President Obama and some in his administration have supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt they also do here in the United States. President Obama and his administration is destroying our country and countries abroad. It was Vladimir Putin who months ago asked countries to put their differences aside and come together to fight against the Genocide of Christians going on at the hands of Muslim Terrorists, President Obama ignored this request because he supported some of the very Muslim Terrorists committing this genocide. For the sake of these United States and countries abroad we need new leadership. God Bless America, Israel and all Real Freedom Fighting Patriots.

It would be naive to think that President Obama is acting ignorantly. What amazes me most is that we in the USA have failed to understand from his actions that he is tacitly supporting the radical muslims. Our failure to understand this will surely become a problem that will affect us. If we in the USA did not learn a lesson from the radical muslims bombings of 9/11, I don’t think we will ever learn again. The current beheading of our journalist is just a tip in the ice berg of what these radical have in mind. The heinous acts of ISIS in burying people alive are just small parts of their evil programs. If the free world refuses to stand up and challenge these animals we will all live to regret our silence.
