The number of dead from yesterday’s bombings of two Coptic churches in Egypt has climbed to 50: thirty Christians were killed at the St. George Church in Tanta, and 15 Christians and five police officials were killed in St. Mark in Alexandria. About 120 are seriously injured.
Because Islamic suicide bombings are on the rise and we risk becoming desensitized to them, and because one picture is supposedly worth a thousand words, below are several images and a video of the bombings.
WARNING: Some of these are graphic. (Those who can handle them might also wish to see what the December 11, 2016 St. Peter’s bombing in Cairo and the 2011 Islamic suicide bombing of a Baghdad church, in Baghdad look like.)
Here’s a brief video — likely to be removed by YouTube soon — of some of the victims of the Tanta attack; note the woman whose left leg appears to have been severed from her body during the blast but remains held together in her pants — as well as the dead little girl.
The first pictures of Coptic Pope Tawadros, who was in the St. Mark Church during the attack, and reportedly could not speak or make any comment for some time.

This is the blood that cries out to God and He will avenge. Count on it.

Egypt belongs to the Copts! It was stolen and occupied by muslims! Giv Egypt back to the Copts!

Jesus said things like this would happen, but He also promised that He would “be with you all the days until the conclusion of this system (under the devil) of things.”
We see the fulfillment of prophecy. We know the other prophecies will also be fulfilled, when Christ comes to carry out His Father’s “will on earth,” as His will is “done in heaven.”
These murderers will not go unpunished. The faithful will be rewarded.

Depressing viewing Raymond Ibrahim but I think it is essential that people see the aftermath of these attacks and the reality of what they actually entail.
I’m sure there will be more of these attacks so post the photos of later incidents too.
I know you once mentioned Coptic Solidarity as a reputable charity. If anyone is inclined to donate, is Coptic Solidarity still the appropriate charity for dealing with this?

A message to all those who would murder like this: ‘Those who kill with the sword, it is necessary that they are killed by the sword.’ Revelation 13:10. ISIS, are you listening? Death awaits you, and then hellfire.

Bring more evils upon them Lord; Visit yet more evils, on the proud (followers of islam) of the earth.
I pray this only in the hope, that God’s wrath will eventually waken them from their demonically possessed state so that they accept the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Fr. Constantine Valantasis

This is just heartbreaking. And not many this side of heaven seem to care about persecuted Christians (and other non-Muslim minorities) in the ME and elsewhere.

This will continue as long as people are in denial of the fact that islam is not a religion at all. It is a violent political ideology just as threatening as the democratic national socialists (NAZIS). islam allied withe the NAZI leader Hitler during WWII, both seeing the anialation of the Jews and other undesirables as the ‘final solution. I believe there will come a time when islam will try to violently overthrow western culture. They are not numerous enough but are working furiously to remedy that through mass migration (invasion).

This is already happening. Isn;t this why all these “terror attacks”/violent jihad are taking place?

The pictures remind me of a church in Bulgaria I visited many years ago. Apparently, the local villagers had barricaded themselves in the church for protection from the Turks. However, they broke the doors and stormed in offering the villagers the option of converting to Islam on the spot or having their throats slit. The villagers went for the second option and their blood is still visible on the walls all over the interior of the church. It would seem apart from the time and the place everything else is the same.
