The following was written by WND:
A column at the Gatestone Institute by Raymond Ibrahim, a distinguished senior fellow at Gatestone and a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is decrying the 2,300 Christian churches that have been vandalized in Greece.
The details, Ibrahim confirms, come from the nation’s Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, which notated 2,339 incidents of church desecrations in Greece between 2015 and 2020.
That’s during a time when Greece was being flooded with “migrants from the Islamic world,” he reported.
According to the Greek City Times, “There appears to be a correlation between the increase in illegal migration and the incidents of attacks on Greek Orthodox religious churches and religious spaces during the five year period which occurred during the peak of the migration crisis.”
In 2020 alone, there were “385 incidents against Christian churches and buildings, including ‘vandalism, burglary, theft, sacrilege, necromancy, robbery, placement of explosive devices and other desecrations,'” the report said.
While few incidents have made the headlines in English-language reporting, one egregious case came last year when “Muslim migrants entered into and utterly desecrated a small church. Proud of their handiwork, they videotaped portions of the incident and uploaded it on TikTok. It shows a topless migrant dancing to rap music as he walks towards and inside the church. The next clip shows the aftermath: devastation inside the church, with smashed icons and the altar overthrown.”
The year before, “Muslim migrants ransacked and transformed a church into their personal toilet. This public restroom was once the St. Catherine Church in Moria, a small town on the island of Lesvos, which was flooded with migrants who arrived via Turkey,” the report said.
That report said, “As a deeply religious society, these attacks on churches are shocking to the Greek people and calls to question whether these illegal immigrants seeking a new life in Europe are willing to integrate and conform to the norms and values of their new countries.”
In fact, residents there no longer feel safe, the report said.
In another attack, “in 2016, the Church of All Saints in Kallithea near Athens was set aflame by ‘Arabic speakers’ — historically conscious Greeks see a continuum in the Islamic targeting of their churches.”
The pattern is a common one for Muslims moving into a nation, the report said.
“We should remember that Greece spent 400 years under Turkish Islamic rule and that the fight for freedom was bloody. With that in mind it is even more dramatic seeing these images of fighting age migrants desecrating Greek holy places and having no respect for the country they are allegedly seeking refuge in,” the Times continued.
Ibrahim explained it was in 1453 that Muslims attacked and destroyed “countless Greek churches, including Hagia Sophia.”
One historian explained Muslim ruler Suleiman Pasha ravaged the faith.
“‘Where there were bells, Suleiman broke them up and cast them into fires. Thus, in place of bells there were now muezzins.’ Cleansed of all Christian ‘filth,’ Gallipoli became, as a later Ottoman bey boasted, ‘the Muslim throat that gulps down every Christian nation—that chokes and destroys the
The attacks, Ibrahim wrote, are not just happening in Greece, either. “All around Western Europe, churches are under attack. This is especially true of the two countries home to Europe’s largest Muslim populations: Germany and France.”
In one region in Germany alone, 200 churches were vandalized, with crosses broken, the report said.
“Before Christmas, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, where more than a million Muslim migrants reside, some 50 public statues of Jesus and other Christian figures were beheaded and crucifixes broken,” Ibrahim explained.
In France, an average of two Christian churches a day are vandalized.
Ibrahim noted one thing is clear: “Greece has become the latest exemplar of ‘Islam’s Rule of Numbers’ — a rule which posits that the more Muslims grow in numbers, the more practices intrinsic to Islam grow with them, in this instance, the desecration of Christian churches.”
de Esmirna says
It is not difficult to imagine the lynching campaign and witch hunt that would occur if the same things were done to a mosque anywhere in the world. When there is an attack on Christians, the political actors remain silent or even support these attacks. Churches are constantly vandalized in Turkey, as in other Islamic countries, and no political actor, or rather freaks, speaks out against those who do this. There are those who find it difficult to understand that hostility and elimination of Christians is adopted as the main program by the Turkish and Islamic states.

We forget that in lour own backyards between 40,000,000 to 50,000,000 terminations of pregnancies occur.
We need first to clean up our act.
Remove the drug industry (about $320 Billion p.a.),
Remove the porn industry (about $150 Billion p.a.)
Remove legalised “mercy killing”.
Cut back on divorces (more than Muslims).
We have some large mountains to climb.
When we can save the lives of the unborn,
women from domestic violence, caused by porn.
drug addiction that catches the innocent youth,
we will be STRONG, and cling like a bundle of faggots,
unable to be broken as easily

Apart from the number of abortions we are a far better society than Islam. Their men can marry four women at a time and divorce them at will and marry four others – so says the Koran. Their divorce rate may be lower because only men can initiate divorce unless the woman comes from moneyed background
and has strong family backing usually rare. After all women are an inferior breed, according to the Koran itself. They can be beaten by their husbands if they don’t do as he commands. Disobedience is not allowed – so says the Koran. And they must have as many offspring as her husband wants or Allah sends – a machine for making babies. When I asked one of their men once “Can you afford another baby?” he replied “Allah will provide”. That’s the attitude.
I used to have a Kurdish young woman as help in the house, a beauty and a pearl if ever there was one, until she was married off by her father to some disgusting older fellow who probably paid a good sum of money for her (you still buy your women in Islam). She came to see me one day to show me her baby son and told me her husband gave her a good beating every night, and when shocked I asked why, what on earth do you do to him, she replied “Nothing”, he just tells me “This is just in case you THINK of doing something”.
Yes, the plight of some women in the West is not always better but it is not sanctified by a Holy Book which can never be changed but is supposedly eternal. Oh I forgot – as for porn why would they need it. They are allowed the real thing – to rape any non-Muslim woman and as many as they want. There is a lot more I could say but
I think I said enough.
We are not a perfect society by any means but at least we don’t have a holy book supposedly valid for all time which demeans women and validates beatings and rapings. Our society may have many ills but I certainly wouldn’t want to be a woman in Islam indeed nor a man either.

Thanks Mary. Couldn’t agree more. I have a number of your comments on Word docs. Show them to some of my young friends here who have been poisoned to see America as the cause of all the world’s problems.
You are reaching more people than you realize. I only use your first name.
Stay safe and well.

Thank you Don so so much. I did nothing more than tell the truth as I saw it from my own life experience. And you can tell your young friends that America is a beautiful country of which they should be very proud, full of beautiful lovely people of all colours, a great and successful country – never mind that Trump wanted to make ‘America great again’, America was always great, a beacon of freedom, attracting much resentment and envy from those who want to destroy it because of its success, number one among them our neo-Marxist “friends” and their Islamist accomplices. I will never forget once when I was waiting for my daughter in the car in the parking lot of a supermarket, a bit tired so I didn’t go in with her, and a lovely couple of colour (the acceptable expression nowadays) saw me and came around to ask if I was ok or needed anything. I was so touched I didn’t know how to thank them. I met many people white and of colour, friends of my American son-in-law and my daughter. If I rave against some US Presidents I do the same with the stupid and immoral ones we have in Europe, especially those unelected bureaucrats in Brussels who are selling us out, mainly because they want to destroy our Christian ethics and morality, one of whose great achievements was the abolition of slavery! It seems that because ‘God is Dead’ as Nietzsche proclaimed, morality too is dead and ‘everything is permitted’ – or so they think. But morality is not dead and everything is not permitted because Christianity or not, we are not animals, we have a conscience and can think (if we want and try to) and as adults can reason and distinguish right from wrong. At least that’s what I think and I’ve seen it as I was growing up among people who could hardly read or write. In closing this long reply, for which please forgive me, I would like to extend my thanks to Raymond Ibrahim as always for all his efforts in keeping us informed of what is happening to the ‘persecuted Church’ – borrowing Tershia’s very apt expression.

I agree with Mary. Muhammad had a dirty mind. Islam is so offensive to women, it should be outlawed.

Thanks Raymond. There is a Christian missionary who wrote a book and showed the increase in differing types of vandalism and and crime that became more severe as the immigrant Muslim populations grew in any nation.
Always started with demands to cover or remove offending items as the first test of their host society.
With the mass migration, that book not as relevant because, the first offenses can be on par with the worst offenses, assault, rape, destruction of property, etc., etc., ad nauseam.

In the Western churches we are repeating the consequences of disobeying scripture in 2 John 1 v 10, which says, “If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t take them into your house or welcome them.”

My sentence is meant to read REAPING the consequences……..very annoying that google changes one’s words.

I would love to share, in my opinion, the best Bulgarian Liberator, Haydutin (Freedom fighter) song.
Of the Opalchentsí, the brave young men who have broken the chains of slavery, and whose chest bears a Cross, who have sworn by the Holy Bible and the flintlock pistol:
“Свобода или смърт!”
“Freedom or Death!”
Achieved, of course, with the help of our Russian and Romanian brothers <3
