I think it is the normal modus operandi of Islam. Get rid of all opposition and criticism of Islam and anyone who goes or speaks against or does not want to convert. This how the middle east is now 100% Islamic . There is no room for tolerance anymore as slowly they squeeze out the minority by fear and killings .. Islam from the beignnign used this method as a the that time most were vulnerable and unarmed for religious conflicts
Christianity was not prepared to counter a rapid conquest by Islam’s armies. Christianity never used violence to spread the religion . It was more a conversion through persuasion and example. Until the Crusades were formed to counter this . If not the whole of Christianity would have been wiped out..
Islamic persecution has moved right down to the Southern African country of Mozambique, where local people living in the north of the country have been brutally and unexpectedly attacked.
Ironically the liberation army called Frelimo chased out the Portuguese colonials and destroyed a beautiful infrastructure. Now Frelimo has to deal with Islamic terrorists who cause more death and destruction.
